The Rewa Football team has claimed victory in the Inter-District Championship, marking the end of a 15-year wait for this esteemed title. In celebration of their success, the team will receive a substantial financial reward, which includes bonuses from their achievements in both the Extra Premier League and the National League. Rewa FC president Nazeel Buksh made this announcement during a festive parade held in Nausori town.
During the parade, Buksh voiced his gratitude toward the team’s commitment, stating, “They are getting both the National League prize money and Extra Premier League prize money, and the FMF IDC prize money. It’s all going to the players, management, and coaching staff; everyone will get a reward from it.” The celebration was further enhanced by the support of local businesses, which provided gift hampers for the players as a token of appreciation.
