Key features include a remarkably slim design, advanced solid-state technology, and Smart Monitoring capabilities that allow for remote control via Bluetooth and a mobile app.
The 12V 104Ah SUPER SLIM SOLID STATE Lithium Battery is set to transform the off-grid RV sector by leveraging the benefits of solid-state batteries. Tiffany Dorin, the Director of Sales & Marketing, stated, “Our mission is to provide an intelligent, space-efficient, energy-dense electric power source to OEMs. Solid-state batteries offer a lightweight and dependable long-life power source for recreational vehicles and other mobile applications.”
Angela Zhang, Director of Global Marketing Services, highlighted the technical, logistical, and economic advantages of Renogy’s new batteries, asserting that they serve as ideal solutions for off-grid electrical needs in nearly any recreational vehicle. Measuring just 2.4 inches in height, the slim battery can be installed in locations that traditional batteries cannot occupy, allowing manufacturers to utilize overlooked spaces within RVs, such as under seats or in-wall compartments.
The solid-state technology provides additional advantages for RV owners, primarily the solid electrolyte that minimizes fire and leak risks. These batteries charge more efficiently, have a longer lifespan than conventional lithium batteries, and can operate over a wider temperature range.
Furthermore, the Smart Battery includes connectivity features like RV-C integration and Bluetooth, enabling RV owners to monitor their battery through a smartphone app, as well as through an onboard system monitor.
