The Renogy 12V 104Ah SUPER SLIM SOLID STATE Lithium Battery is at the forefront of integrating solid-state battery advantages into the growing off-grid RV market. Tiffany Dorin, the Director of Sales & Marketing, emphasizes the company’s goal to provide high-quality, space-efficient, and energy-dense electric power solutions for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). She highlights that solid-state batteries offer a lightweight and reliable long-life power solution for recreational vehicles and other mobile applications.
Angela Zhang, the Director of Global Marketing Services, notes that the technical benefits of Renogy’s new SUPER SLIM SOLID STATE lithium batteries, compared to traditional liquid electrolytes, along with logistical and economic advantages, position the Renogy battery as an ideal choice for off-grid power needs in various recreational vehicles.
Measuring only 2.4 inches in height, this ultra-thin battery can be installed in places where standard battery designs are not feasible. OEMs can now utilize previously unused spaces—such as under seats, beneath floors, and in-wall compartments—within their RVs to install the slim solid state batteries.
Additionally, solid state technology provides numerous benefits for RV owners, including a solid electrolyte that lowers the risk of fire and leaks. These batteries also charge more efficiently, have a slower degradation rate than conventional lithium batteries, and can withstand a wider range of operating temperatures.
Another appealing feature for RV owners is the Smart Battery’s connectivity, which includes RV-C integration and Bluetooth capabilities, allowing users to connect to the battery via a smartphone app alongside the system monitor located inside the RV.
