The new battery features a notably thin design, advanced solid state technology, and Smart Monitoring capabilities that enable Bluetooth and mobile app connectivity for remote operation.
The Renogy 12V 104Ah SUPER SLIM SOLID STATE Lithium Battery sets a new standard in the off-grid RV market with its solid-state battery technology. The technical advantages of Renogy’s SUPER SLIM SOLID STATE lithium batteries, compared to conventional liquid electrolytes, along with logistical and economic benefits, make this battery an excellent choice for off-grid power requirements in nearly any recreational vehicle, according to Angela Zhang, Director of Global Marketing Services.
Measuring only 2.4 inches in height, this remarkably slim battery can fit into spaces where traditional battery designs may not. OEMs have the opportunity to utilize previously wasted areas (such as under seats, beneath the floor, and in-wall compartments) in their RVs for the installation of the super-thin Renogy batteries.
The solid state technology also provides additional advantages for RV owners, including a solid electrolyte that minimizes the risk of fire and leaks. These batteries charge more efficiently, have a longer lifespan than standard lithium batteries, and can operate across a wider temperature range.
Another user-friendly feature is the Smart Battery’s connectivity options, which include RV-C integration and Bluetooth compatibility, allowing RV owners to connect to the battery via a smartphone app as well as access a system monitor inside the RV.
