The recent focus has been on the “Raise the Roof Capital Campaign,” which started in 2008. This initiative aims to expand the building to include additional facilities, such as storage, dressing rooms, and updated bathrooms.
The theatre plans to use part of the space where the old Pinehurst Hotel used to stand, which once had a shared wall with the theatre and provided direct access for hotel guests. Liverett emphasized the need for modern plumbing and facilities, aligning with the goals for a better overall experience for both performers and audiences.
