Reddit is making a significant move into the sports marketing industry, announcing several new collaborations with prominent sports leagues including the NFL, NBA, MLB, PGA Tour, and NASCAR.
Starting this week, Reddit users will have access to a variety of exclusive content, including game highlights, player Q&A sessions, behind-the-scenes videos, and other special features shared by the leagues during their seasons and significant events.
The platform boasts over 1,000 active communities dedicated to sports, which have seen a notable increase in activity. Reddit reported a 26% rise in screenviews for sports-related forums over the past year.

In its quest to boost revenue ahead of a potential public offering, Reddit previously secured a $60 million annual AI licensing agreement with Google in February. Following the announcement of its new sports partnerships, Reddit’s shares rose nearly 7%.
