Reddit is making a significant move into the sports marketing industry by announcing multiple partnerships with several major sports leagues, including the NFL, NBA, MLB, PGA Tour, and NASCAR.
Among the offerings, Reddit users will gain access to video highlights from games and tournaments, player Q&A sessions, exclusive behind-the-scenes content, and special updates from the leagues throughout their seasons and key events.
The platform highlighted that it currently hosts over 1,000 active sports communities, with a notable increase in user engagement in these areas. Screenviews on sports forums rose by 26% in the past year.
