Reddit Scores Big: New Partnerships Shape the Future of Sports Marketing

Reddit is venturing into the sports marketing industry with new partnerships involving major leagues such as the NFL, NBA, MLB, PGA Tour, and NASCAR.

The social media platform revealed these collaborations on Monday, aimed at enhancing user engagement by providing access to game highlights, player AMAs (Ask Me Anything sessions), behind-the-scenes content, and other exclusive materials from these leagues throughout their seasons and events.

As Reddit prepares for its public offering, it has been exploring various revenue-generating strategies. In February, the platform arranged a $60 million per year licensing deal with Google for AI. Following the announcement of these new sports partnerships, Reddit’s shares rose nearly 7%.
