Authorities in Nashville have arrested 21-year-old Diamond Tankard, a reality TV star known for her appearance on Bravo’s “Thicker Than Water,” after she allegedly attacked another woman at a local Walmart using a sock filled with rocks. The incident occurred on July 18, during which Tankard reportedly struck the victim, later identified as a woman shopping at the self-checkout, and subsequently stole her Louis Vuitton handbag – valued at approximately $900 – along with her mobile phone.

According to an affidavit referenced by local outlets, Tankard approached the victim from behind, grabbed her hair, and used the sock to cause physical harm, resulting in visible injuries that included a laceration on the victim’s forehead. The police obtained surveillance footage from the Walmart, which corroborated the victim’s account of the incident.

Tankard has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and theft of property. After being taken into custody, she was released on a $25,000 bond. Notably, this is not the first time Tankard has faced legal issues; in November 2024, she was charged with attempted first-degree murder for allegedly striking a woman with her vehicle, an incident that left the victim with critical injuries.

This troubling pattern raises concerns about Tankard’s behavior and its potential impact on her future. The public’s response has varied, with some expressing dismay over the violent actions of a figure in the spotlight while others hope for her to seek help.

As this story develops, it serves as a reminder of the complexities and challenges that can accompany fame in today’s social media-driven society.
