Reality TV Star Amy Slaton Arrested: Shocking Details Emerge!

Reality TV star Amy Slaton, known for her role in TLC’s “1000-Lb. Sisters,” was arrested at a wildlife park in Tennessee on Monday for suspected drug possession and child endangerment. The incident took place at the Tennessee Safari Park in Alamo, where law enforcement was called after Slaton, 36, was reportedly bitten by a camel.

Upon arriving, officers noticed suspicious odors coming from Slaton’s vehicle. She was arrested on charges related to illegal possession of Schedule I and Schedule VI drugs, as well as two counts of child endangerment. Brian Scott Lovvorn, who was present in the vehicle with her, faced the same charges. Both individuals were taken to Crockett County Jail.

A statement from the Crockett County Sheriff’s Department emphasized that the allegations are merely accusations at this stage, and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

On September 3, the sheriff’s department noted that a judge had set their bonds at $10,000 each. A representative for Slaton was not immediately available for comment.

Amy Slaton and her sister Tammy Slaton gained fame through their YouTube channel, leading to the creation of “1000-Lb. Sisters,” which documents their journeys toward better health. The series, which debuted in January 2020, highlighted Amy’s challenges with motherhood and her decision to undergo gastric bypass surgery to facilitate a healthy pregnancy. She welcomed her first son, Gage, in November 2020, and her second son, Glenn, in July 2022.

The show also captured Tammy’s weight loss journey, including her successful bariatric surgery in season four. The fifth season, which premiered in December 2023, addressed various personal struggles, including Amy’s finalized divorce and the passing of Tammy’s husband, Caleb Willingham, in June 2023.

Tammy paid tribute to her late husband on Instagram following his death, expressing her love and gratitude for the time they shared together.
