Reality Star Amy Slaton Faces Major Legal Trouble: Details Inside!

Reality TV star Amy Slaton, known from TLC’s “1000-Lb. Sisters,” was arrested at a wildlife park in Tennessee on Monday on charges of illegal drug possession and child endangerment.

The incident took place at the Tennessee Safari Park in Alamo, where deputies from the Crockett County Sheriff’s Office were called after a visitor, later identified as the 36-year-old Slaton, was reportedly bitten by a camel. Upon arrival, deputies noticed suspicious odors emanating from Slaton’s vehicle.

Slaton, who has two children, Gage, 3, and Glenn, 2, with her ex-husband, Michael Halterman, was charged with illegal possession of Schedule I drugs, illegal possession of Schedule VI drugs, and two counts of child endangerment. Alongside her, Brian Scott Lovvorn was arrested on the same charges, and both were booked into the Crockett County Jail.

The sheriff’s department emphasized that these charges are allegations and that Slaton is presumed innocent until proven guilty. Bonds for both individuals were set at $10,000 each by Crockett County General Sessions Judge Paul Conley.

A representative for Slaton has not yet responded to requests for comment.
