The Real Housewives of Potomac is set to return for its highly anticipated Season 10, though it will be without the presence of Karen Huger, one of the original cast members. Huger’s absence follows her DUI conviction and subsequent sentencing earlier this year.

In the series promo, fellow original cast member Gizelle Bryant expresses her sentiments through a heartfelt letter to Huger, revealing how much she misses her absence from the show. Despite this, the production of the show continued, and several cast members, including Bryant, have maintained communication with Huger since her release from a Montgomery County detention center on September 2, 2025. Bryant shared her well-wishes, stating, “She was in jail; she had a time. She’s very happy to be home, very happy to be with Ray.”

Though Bravo’s cameras were not present to document Huger’s departure from the detention facility, news footage captured her waving to onlookers from the backseat of a black SUV, marking a significant moment in her journey back into the public eye.

Reflecting on her growth, Bryant noted the evolution of her perspective during her time on the show. “I have come to a place where… I accept people for who they are,” she remarked, emphasizing her appreciation for the diversity among the cast.

Ashley Darby, another original cast member, shared her thoughts on Huger’s absence, noting that she misses her best friend and sparring partner. “It feels like my big sister has been gone,” Darby said, expressing excitement to hear about Huger’s experiences post-release while also acknowledging a newfound respect for her, humorously stating “Karen’s got some street cred.”

Fans can look forward to the return of familiar faces, including Bryant, Darby, Wendy Osefo, Stacey Rusch, and Keiarna Stewart, along with newcomers Tia Glover, a British-Nigerian luxury real estate advisor, and Angel Massie. The dynamic of the group promises to keep viewers engaged as Season 10 of The Real Housewives of Potomac premieres on Sunday, October 5, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.
