Oklahoma State set the tone early, scoring the first run in the third inning with an RBI single from Amanda Hasler, taking a 1-0 lead. However, Arkansas quickly responded in the fourth inning when Kailey Wyckoff managed to get a hit that enabled Raigan Kramer to score, leveling the game at 1-1. As the game progressed, Oklahoma State extended their lead to 5-1 through strong innings in both the fourth and fifth.
Undeterred, Arkansas began their comeback with Atalyia Rijo hitting the first home run of the season, known as a “Bogle Bomb.” This sparked a rally that reached its peak in the seventh inning, highlighted by Courtney Day’s clutch performance, scoring two runs following an Oklahoma State throwing error.
