LITTLE ROCK — The Arkansas Razorbacks opened their 2024 football season with an impressive performance, defeating Arkansas Pine Bluff (UAPB) 70-0 on Thursday night.
In front of enthusiastic fans at War Memorial Stadium, Arkansas recorded touchdowns on all ten of their offensive possessions. The team’s rushing attack was particularly dominant, averaging 8.5 yards per carry, with Ja’Quinden Jackson and Taylen Green each contributing two rushing touchdowns.
Defensively, the Razorbacks were equally formidable, limiting UAPB to just 128 total yards and achieving four sacks. Due to the lopsided score, the final two quarters were shortened to 10 minutes each after a 49-0 halftime lead.
