Randy Travis Brings “More Life” Tour to Wyoming: A Celebration of Legacy and Connection

Country music legend Randy Travis is set to bring his “More Life” tour to the CAM-PLEX Heritage Center Theatre in Gillette, Wyoming, on August 25. Tickets for the event are now available for fans eager to see the iconic artist and his original touring band.

Although Travis will not perform vocally due to a stroke he suffered in 2013, he will be present on stage alongside his wife, Mary, interacting with fans and embracing the special atmosphere of the event. Special guest James Dupré is expected to take the lead vocal role and will perform many of Travis’s classic No. 1 hits, such as “On the Other Hand,” “Forever and Ever, Amen,” and “Three Wooden Crosses.”

Travis described the “More Life Tour” as a tribute to his enduring relationship with fans and a celebration of his life’s work. He emphasizes that this journey is as much about connection as it is about music. “It’s a gift to me to spend time with my fans, and my band, as James Dupré perfectly presents the songs that best define my career,” he stated.

The tour has seen successful previous dates in 2024, and the upcoming performances promise a nostalgic blend of Travis’s greatest hits paired with video montages showcasing memorable moments from his lengthy career in music, film, and television.

Dupré expressed his enthusiasm, noting, “I’m thrilled and honored to hit the road again with my hero and friend, Randy Travis. I’m looking forward to meeting and singing along with all the Randy Travis fans in 2025.”

Randy Travis, a multi-genre star with lifetime sales surpassing 25 million, is a revered figure in the country music community. He was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2016 and has received numerous accolades, including seven Grammy Awards and 11 Academy of Country Music Awards.
