A 23-year-old man has been apprehended in connection with an aggravated robbery that took place in Raiwaqa yesterday morning. According to police reports, the suspect, along with two accomplices, allegedly assaulted a man outside the Milverton Rd Top Shop.
The victim was reportedly waiting for a bus when he was attacked, with the suspects stealing his watch and $9 in cash. Following the incident, the victim promptly reported the crime to authorities, prompting a police team to initiate a search for the assailants.
The suspect was eventually located and arrested along Nairai Rd. He is now in custody and being questioned at the Raiwaqa Police Station, while police continue their efforts to locate the other individuals involved in the robbery.
