Fox News host Rachel Campos-Duffy has made a significant move within the network, stepping down from her role on the Spanish-language FOX Noticias. The 54-year-old Campos-Duffy, who is married to Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy, was a host of FOX Noticias since its launch in October 2024. Despite her departure from the daily show, she will continue her duties on Fox & Friends Weekend, which she co-hosts on weekends.
In a statement, Fox News Media announced that Campos-Duffy will shift her focus to her weekend role and is looking forward to her upcoming book with the network, set to be released in 2026. Furthermore, her involvement with Fox Noticias will continue in a new capacity, as she will participate in digital initiatives, which include a fresh weekly digital video and audio program aimed at providing in-depth interviews across various subjects, including politics, entertainment, and sports, scheduled to launch in February.
Rachel Campos-Duffy, who is a mother of nine, is being succeeded on FOX Noticias by Andrea Linares, who previously worked as an anchor for TelevisaUnivision. Linares expressed her enthusiasm about joining the FOX Noticias team, emphasizing the importance of telling impactful stories for the Hispanic community across the nation. Additionally, hosts Katrina Campins and Julie Banderas are set to rotate as co-hosts of the program.
Throughout her tenure at Fox News, Campos-Duffy has engaged in various discussions surrounding cultural topics and controversies. Her commentary has at times sparked debates, as seen in her remarks regarding the rebranding strategies of major companies and her position on political issues. Nonetheless, Campos-Duffy’s transition brings new opportunities for both her and the network, as it embraces changes and seeks to connect with audiences through innovative formats.
This change reflects the ongoing evolution within Fox News, indicating a shift in programming aimed at adapting to audience preferences and the dynamic media landscape. Campos-Duffy’s broad involvement, from television hosting to digital platforms, underscores a commitment to engaging diverse viewer groups.
