During the inauguration of the G S Raj Supermarket in Rakiraki, Rabuka emphasized the importance of unity among Fijians as the festive season approaches, advocating for joy, cooperation, and goodwill among diverse ethnic groups.
In light of recent discussions surrounding ethnic tensions, the Prime Minister firmly dismissed notions of increasing nationalism, stating, “You do not have anything to worry about as long as we are in control.” He reiterated that the benefits of collaboration are evident and can be replicated throughout all provinces.
