Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka reaffirmed the crucial role of government secretaries during a welcoming dinner for the Pacific Heads of Prime Ministers’ Departments held at the Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva. Addressing senior officials from various Pacific Island countries, he underscored their responsibilities as principal advisers to heads of state and stressed their importance in aligning public policies with the realities faced by citizens.
The event aimed at promoting regional cooperation and unity brought together officials committed to enhancing governance, implementing regional priorities, and fostering mentorship and capacity building.
