2024’s highly anticipated blockbuster, Pushpa 2 – The Rule, features a dramatic entrance for superstar Allu Arjun, who makes his debut scene hidden inside a container at a port in Japan. Over a year later, Arjun is preparing to make a legal visit to Japan, where he will participate in promotional events leading up to the film’s release in the country.

The film is set to premiere in Japan on January 16, 2026, under the title Pushpa Kunrin. The release will be managed by Geek Pictures in collaboration with Shochiku, heightening excitement among fans. To celebrate this upcoming launch, a vibrant poster showcasing Allu Arjun’s signature style—complete with sunglasses, floral shirts, and undeniable swagger—has been unveiled alongside a Japanese-version trailer shared on YouTube.

Fans have expressed their eagerness for this special release, and one curious admirer took to Twitter to inquire if Allu Arjun would attend promotional events in Japan. Remarkably, Sarath Chandra Naidu, Arjun’s manager, responded unexpectedly, confirming, “Yes, he is,” despite not being directly tagged in the post. His reply quickly spread across the platform, further igniting excitement for what will be Arjun’s first visit to Japan.

Adding to the film’s unique offerings, a 200-minute version of Pushpa 2 was released initially in India and around the globe. Following its significant box office success, the creators opted to release an extended version that runs for 222 minutes, which will also be the version shown in Japan.

The anticipation surrounding both the film and Allu Arjun’s visit underscores the growing global reach of Indian cinema, promising an engaging experience for audiences in Japan.
