American forward Christian Pulisic played a key role in helping AC Milan conclude their 2025 Serie A campaign on a high note, contributing with a goal in their 3-0 victory over Hellas Verona at the San Siro. This marked Pulisic’s tenth goal across all competitions this season, bringing his total for the calendar year to 20 goals. This impressive tally ties him with Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martinez for the lead in the Serie A Golden Boot race.

AC Milan took a narrow 1-0 lead into halftime with Pulisic breaking the deadlock in stoppage time. Utilizing a well-placed corner kick from Adrien Rabiot, Pulisic deftly redirected the ball into the net, showcasing his goal-scoring skill.

The Rossoneri’s advantage was doubled shortly after the break when Christopher Nkunku scored from the penalty spot. Nkunku then added his second goal just five minutes later, capitalizing on a rebound after Luka Modric’s attempt was initially saved by Hellas Verona goalkeeper Lorenzo Montipo.

Pulisic completed 76 minutes on the pitch during his 14th appearance of the season, now with eight goals in Serie A. He is on track to achieve a personal best in league goals and has become one of only two players in Serie A, alongside Martinez, to have been directly involved in over 50 goals since his debut in 2023—combining for 31 goals and 19 assists.

With this victory, AC Milan secures a position within the top three of the Serie A standings as they look forward to their next match against Cagliari on January 2. Pulisic’s performance, along with his consistent scoring, not only highlights his individual talent but also his significant contribution to the team’s overall success this season.
