PSG Posts Record Revenue After Historic Season

PSG Sets Revenue Record on Back of Champions League Triumph

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has reported record revenue figures for the 2024-2025 season, reaching an impressive total of 837 million euros (approximately $976.11 million). This substantial financial growth demonstrates the club’s rising influence and success, particularly highlighted by their historic first UEFA Champions League title. Previous revenue benchmarks were set at 806 million euros, indicating a notable upward trajectory in the club’s financials.

A breakdown of this record revenue shows that PSG generated 367 million euros from commercial activities and 175 million euros from matchday income. The club’s home ground, the Parc des Princes, has witnessed extraordinary support, with 170 consecutive matches sold out, a testament to the passionate engagement of their fan base.

In addition to its financial success, PSG enjoyed an outstanding season on the field, winning not only the Champions League but also the Ligue 1 title, the French Cup, and the Trophee des Champions. Nevertheless, the club reported an annual loss, although specific figures were not disclosed; last season they faced a deficit of around 60 million euros.

PSG expressed its pride in these financial achievements, attributing the growth to the maturation of its project since the involvement of its main shareholder, Qatar Sports Investments (QSI), in 2011. This solid economic model positions PSG as one of the most robust clubs in the world, reinforcing its stature in international football.

The combination of financial strength and competitive success suggests a bright outlook for PSG as they aim to continue building on their achievements both domestically and internationally. The club’s ability to generate substantial revenue alongside strong performances could herald an exciting new chapter in its rich history.
