PlayStation has announced its lineup of free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers this month, set to be available from January 6 until February 2. Members can look forward to claiming Need for Speed Unbound, Epic Mickey: Rebrushed, and Core Keeper.

Need for Speed Unbound, the latest installment in the popular racing franchise, features both single-player and multiplayer campaigns set in a city reminiscent of Chicago, known as Lakeshore City. The game emphasizes street racing while adding an exciting twist with intense police pursuits that escalate as players build their reputation. In addition to racing, players can modify their vehicles and participate in weekly qualifiers aimed at entering the elite racing event known as The Grand.

Epic Mickey: Rebrushed revives the classic title that initially debuted on the Wii in 2010. This remaster from THQ Nordic enhances the visuals and gameplay, as players join Mickey Mouse in the Wasteland, a realm filled with forgotten characters. This iteration introduces a narrative in which Mickey must reconcile with his long-lost brother, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, adding depth to the gameplay experience.

Core Keeper offers a unique combination of cozy and survival elements, inviting players to explore a sprawling underground cavern rich with hidden treasures and secrets. Players can dig for resources, craft tools, and build bases while upgrading their skills to face the formidable Titans. As they navigate the cavern, players can also focus on tending to animals, growing food, fishing, and cooking.

Players should also remember to claim December’s free PlayStation Plus games before January 5, which include Lego Horizon Adventures, Killing Floor 3, The Outlast Trials, Synduality Echo of Ada, and Neon White. This diverse selection reflects PlayStation’s commitment to providing engaging content for their subscribers each month. The upcoming games promise thrilling adventures and nostalgic experiences, appealing to a wide range of gaming enthusiasts.
