Remington Fiji Limited’s Managing Director, Mohammed Bari, expressed the company’s pride in supporting the Sukuna Bowl Games, emphasizing its importance as a national sporting event that fosters unity and teamwork among Fiji’s communities. Similarly, Shop N Save’s Head of Marketing, Vijay Krishna, reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the Fiji Police Force, highlighting their longstanding partnership and the importance of contributing to the tournament’s buildup.

Commissioner Tudravu expressed gratitude towards both organizations for their generosity. He acknowledged the increasing challenges involved in organizing such a large-scale tournament, reflecting on how rising costs impact preparations. “This year, expenses are anticipated to increase as we introduce three games in Labasa for the first time,” he noted.

The highly anticipated tournament is scheduled to take place from November 17 to 19 in Suva, culminating on November 20 and 21 at Subrail Park in Labasa. The event will showcase a range of sports, including soccer, women’s rugby, and the main rugby clash, promising a weekend filled with exciting competitions.

The support from Shop N Save and Remington Fiji Limited highlights the collaboration between private businesses and public institutions, aiming to promote not just athletic achievement but also community solidarity through sport. The anticipation for the tournament continues to build, and it stands as a testament to the spirit of camaraderie inherent in Fiji’s national events.
