William Prowse, the talented goaltender for the Lincoln Stars, has officially committed to continue his hockey journey at Princeton University, where he will join the NCAA Division I program in the ECAC Hockey Conference. The 18-year-old athlete currently boasts an impressive record of 8 wins, 2 losses, and 1 overtime loss, with a goals-against average of 2.60 and a save percentage of .902 over 14 games this season. His strong performance, including at least one point in eight of his ten starts, has positioned him with the ninth-best goals-against average in the USHL.
Previously, Prowse showcased his skills playing prep hockey at Holderness School in New Hampshire and spent two years with the Rocky Mountain Roughriders AAA program. He expressed gratitude for the opportunity Princeton has provided, citing their exceptional coaching staff as a significant factor in his decision. He also praised the university’s outstanding athletic facilities and quality education, stating, “Princeton has been so great to me since the beginning.”
