20th Century Studios has unveiled an intense and creature-filled new trailer for “Predator: Badlands,” offering fans a closer look at the surprising alliance between a young Yautja warrior and a Weyland-Yutani synth. Set to premiere in theaters on November 7, 2025, the film will be available in various formats, including IMAX, Dolby Cinema, RealD 3D, Cinemark XD, 4DX, and ScreenX.

The cast features Elle Fanning alongside Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi, who plays Yautja warrior Dek. The story unfolds on a remote planet where a young Predator, ostracized from his clan, teams up with Thia (played by Fanning) to embark on a perilous quest in pursuit of a formidable enemy. The trailer hints that this young warrior has selected the most hazardous game on the most treacherous planet imaginable.

Directed by Dan Trachtenberg, known for “Prey” and “10 Cloverfield Lane,” the film’s screenplay was co-written with Patrick Aison, also of “Prey.” Trachtenberg previously shared insights into Thia’s character, describing an intriguing dynamic between her and Dek. The trailer reveals that Thia is a damaged synth who will assist Dek in their hunt, enhancing the narrative of their unique partnership.

Additionally, a new poster accompanies the trailer, showcasing the film’s innovative weaponry and thrilling creature encounters, inviting fans into an intense cinematic experience.

The “Predator” franchise, owned by Disney under the 20th Century Studios brand, originated with the classic action-horror film in 1987, leading to a series of sequels, spin-offs, comic books, and video games. Fans are encouraged to prepare for a fresh and captivating take on the “Predator” saga this coming fall.

This new installment promises to blend action and futuristic elements, signaling a hopeful direction for the beloved franchise.
