Post Malone’s Country Transformation: F-1 Trillion Unveiled!

In November, Post Malone surprised audiences with his performance at the CMA Awards, where he honored beloved late country star Joe Diffie alongside HARDY and Morgan Wallen. Backstage after the event, he hinted at a long-awaited project for fans: his own country album.

That project is now a reality. Titled F-1 Trillion, Post Malone’s country debut showcases a variety of talent, featuring collaborations with icons such as Dolly Parton and Hank Williams Jr., along with emerging stars Lainey Wilson and Jelly Roll, among others.

Since announcing the album, Post Malone has taken significant steps into the country music scene. He performed at Nashville’s famed Bluebird Cafe with Wilson and participated in a guest-heavy set of country covers at the Stagecoach festival this summer. During that event, he joined Morgan Wallen on stage for a live rendition of their Hot 100 hit “I Had Some Help,” which serves as the lead single from F-1 Trillion. Additionally, he has collaborated with Blake Shelton on “Pour Me A Drink” and Luke Combs on “Guy For That.”

To celebrate the album’s launch, Post Malone made his Grand Ole Opry debut on August 14, welcoming many collaborators from the album, including Wilson, Shelton, and Brad Paisley.

Earlier this year, Post Malone achieved another No. 1 hit as a featured artist on Taylor Swift’s “Fortnight” and appeared on Beyoncé’s country-inspired track “LEVII’S JEANS” from Cowboy Carter.

Throughout his career, Post Malone has landed 80 songs on the Hot 100, with six reaching No. 1. On the Billboard 200, all five of his albums have debuted in the top five, including two that reached No. 1: 2018’s beerbongs & bentleys and 2019’s Hollywood’s Bleeding. Since 2022, he has released an album each year, starting with Twelve Carat Toothache, followed by Austin, and now F-1 Trillion.

In an update, Post Malone released nine additional tracks on August 16 under the title F-1 Trillion (Long Bed). These solo tracks lean more towards traditional country than those on F-1 Trillion, allowing him to showcase his Texas roots and country credentials. This new release serves as a fitting companion for fans seeking a taste of honky tonk and western swing.
