Post Malone Takes the Country Scene by Storm with F-1 Trillion Debut

Last November, Post Malone captivated audiences with his performance at the CMA Awards, where he honored the late country legend Joe Diffie alongside HARDY and Morgan Wallen. Following this, he sparked excitement among fans by hinting at the possibility of releasing his own country album.

Now, that long-anticipated project has been unveiled. Titled F-1 Trillion, Post Malone’s country debut is produced by Charlie Handsome and Louis Bell and features a lineup that includes iconic artists like Dolly Parton and Hank Williams Jr., as well as rising stars such as Lainey Wilson and Jelly Roll, among others.

Since teasing the album, Post has made significant strides within the country music scene. He performed at Nashville’s renowned Bluebird Cafe with Wilson and delivered a star-studded country covers set at Stagecoach this summer. During the festival, he shared the stage with Morgan Wallen to debut their Hot 100 hit “I Had Some Help,” which serves as the lead single for F-1 Trillion. Additional collaborations include “Pour Me A Drink” with Blake Shelton and “Guy For That” featuring Luke Combs.

To celebrate the album’s release, Post Malone made his Grand Ole Opry debut on Wednesday (Aug. 14), where he was joined by several collaborators from the album, including Wilson, Shelton, and Brad Paisley.

Earlier this year, he achieved another No. 1 hit with his feature on Taylor Swift’s “Fortnight” and also collaborated with Beyoncé on her country-inspired track “LEVII’S JEANS.”

Post Malone has a remarkable record with 80 songs charting on the Hot 100, including six that reached No. 1. All five of his albums have debuted in the top five on the Billboard 200, with two of them hitting No. 1: 2018’s beerbongs & bentleys and 2019’s Hollywood’s Bleeding. He has consistently released an album each year since 2022, kicking off with Twelve Carat Toothache, followed by Austin, and now F-1 Trillion.

UPDATE: On Friday morning (Aug. 16), Post Malone introduced nine additional tracks under the title F-1 Trillion (Long Bed). These tracks are primarily solo efforts, showcasing a more traditional country sound that reflects his Texas roots. The new release serves as a companion piece to the original album, particularly appealing to fans who enjoy honky tonk and western swing influences.
