Last November, Post Malone made a remarkable impression at the CMA Awards by honoring the late country icon Joe Diffie during his performance alongside HARDY and Morgan Wallen. Following the event, he hinted at a long-anticipated project: his own country album.
That project has now become a reality with the release of F-1 Trillion, marking Post’s debut in the country music genre. Produced by Charlie Handsome and Louis Bell, the album features an array of artists, from country legends like Dolly Parton and Hank Williams Jr. to breakout stars like Lainey Wilson and Jelly Roll.
Since announcing the album, Post has taken significant steps into the country music scene. He performed at Nashville’s legendary Bluebird Cafe with Wilson and presented a guest-filled set of country covers at Stagecoach this summer. This included a surprise performance with Morgan Wallen, debuting their hit “I Had Some Help,” which serves as the lead single for F-1 Trillion. Additional collaborations on the album include “Pour Me A Drink” featuring Blake Shelton and “Guy For That” with Luke Combs.
Post celebrated the album launch by making his Grand Ole Opry debut on Wednesday (August 14), inviting several collaborators, including Shelton, Wilson, and Brad Paisley, to perform with him.
Earlier this year, he achieved another No. 1 with his feature on Taylor Swift’s “Fortnight” and contributed to Beyoncé’s country-infused Cowboy Carter, where he dueted on “LEVII’S JEANS.”
Post Malone has made a significant impact on the music charts, with 80 entries on the Hot 100, including six at No. 1. All five of his albums have reached the top five on the Billboard 200, securing two No. 1 spots with 2018’s beerbongs & bentleys and 2019’s Hollywood’s Bleeding. He has consistently released an album each year since 2022, starting with Twelve Carat Toothache, followed by Austin, and now F-1 Trillion.
In an exciting update on Friday morning (August 16), Post Malone unveiled nine new tracks under the title F-1 Trillion (Long Bed). These solo tracks lean more towards traditional country, providing him the opportunity to showcase his Texas roots and country credentials. The collection serves as an excellent companion piece for fans seeking honky tonk and western swing vibes.
