Portola Festival Returns with Star-Studded Lineup and Unique Experiences!

San Francisco’s Portola festival is set to return for its fourth edition this fall, unveiling an impressive lineup featuring iconic acts such as LCD Soundsystem, The Prodigy, Underworld, and pop sensation Christina Aguilera. The festival, scheduled for September 20 and 21 at Pier 80—a sprawling one million square foot maritime shipping pier—will also include performances by Dom Dolla, Peggy Gou, Mau P, and Chris Lake alongside his Anti Up partner Chris Lorenzo.

A standout feature of this year’s festival is the participation of The Chemical Brothers, who will perform in the festival’s expansive Warehouse space, marking their only confirmed North American DJ set for 2025 outside of New York. Additional exciting acts include Kelly Lee Owens, Ravyn Lenae, The Rapture, Erol Alkan, and Salute, ensuring a diverse and vibrant musical experience.

In a special addition to the lineup, Portola will present Despacio, a unique touring disco experience created by LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy, making its San Francisco debut. This festival has rapidly gained recognition since its inception in 2022, with creator Danny Bell emphasizing the importance of crafting a lineup with a personal touch and a cohesive concept, setting Portola apart as one of the leading electronic music festivals in the United States.

General tickets for the event will be available starting May 15, making this a highly anticipated stop for music lovers in the fall. The Portola festival’s commitment to delivering thoughtfully curated experiences highlights its potential to continue becoming a staple in the festival scene. This year promises to be particularly memorable, with a blend of established headliners and emerging talent ready to captivate audiences.
