Kevin Porter Jr. led the Milwaukee Bucks to a decisive 128-117 victory over the Miami Heat on Tuesday night, matching his season high with 32 points. The win marked the Bucks’ fourth victory in five games, solidifying their momentum as they continue to navigate the season.

Bobby Portis and Ryan Rollins contributed significantly, each scoring 21 points for the Bucks. Kyle Kuzma and Ousmane Dieng added 19 and 11 points, respectively. Meanwhile, Miami’s roster featured Norman Powell as the top scorer with 26 points while Bam Adebayo and Andrew Wiggins chipped in with 18 and 16 points.

The game was highly competitive, with Milwaukee holding a slight lead of 63-58 at halftime. Throughout the third quarter, the two teams exchanged leads, and Miami entered the final period with a narrow advantage at 93-89. Early in the fourth, Kel’el Ware’s three-pointer extended Miami’s lead to nine points, their largest of the game. However, Milwaukee quickly responded, narrowing the gap to 102-100 before taking the lead at 103-102 on a three-pointer by Dieng.

As the game reached its climax, the tension remained high with both teams battling for dominance. A pivotal 3-pointer from Porter, along with a free throw after being fouled, pushed Milwaukee ahead 118-116. Critical baskets by Rollins in the final minute secured the Bucks’ victory.

Milwaukee’s victory came without star player Giannis Antetokounmpo, who is sidelined due to a calf strain and has now missed 12 consecutive games. The Bucks’ record stands at 15-15 with him and 10-16 without him this season. Nikola Jovic was also unavailable for the Heat as he missed his second consecutive game due to back issues.

Looking ahead, the Heat will face the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday, while the Bucks will host the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday, both teams eager to build on their recent performances. This win represents a hopeful turn for Milwaukee as they aim to find consistency in their gameplay during Antetokounmpo’s absence.
