Sophomore infielder, Pompey, has been recognized as a Third Team All-America selection by Perfect Game Baseball, highlighting his impressive skills on the field. Hailing from Coppell, Pompey not only earned a spot as a two-time Freshman All-American in 2024 but also secured a place on the Big 12 All-Freshman team.
In his debut season, he showcased his talent by posting a batting average of .279, alongside 10 home runs and 49 RBIs. Furthermore, his contribution included 12 stolen bases, 11 doubles, and a couple of triples, leading to a solid OPS of .905. Pompey ranked fourth on the Red Raiders for home runs, third in RBIs, and sixth in runs scored, placing him among the top-20 in the Big 12 for RBIs, triples, and stolen bases.
