The presidential elections in the Republic of Poland are set to take place on Sunday, May 18, 2025. In Tanzania, a local electoral commission has been established at the Polish Embassy located at Mtwara Road 15, Oysterbay, Dar es Salaam. The polling station will be open from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM Tanzanian time.

Before heading to vote, it is essential to check the address of your designated polling station, as voting is only allowed at the location where you are registered. If you are voting using a certificate of eligibility, be sure to bring the original document from the first voting day. On May 18, 2025, presenting only a certificate for a subsequent voting day will not allow you to cast your vote.

Additionally, you must bring a VALID POLISH PASSPORT. Voting with a Polish ID card, copies/scans/photos of the personalized passport page, the mObywatel application, or a foreign passport will not be permitted.

Please note that for security reasons, only Polish citizens presenting a VALID POLISH PASSPORT will be allowed on the premises of the Polish Embassy in Dar es Salaam.

We advise against bringing dangerous items (such as sharp tools, explosives, or flammable materials) and large baggage, such as large bags, suitcases, or backpacks. Security may request smaller bags to be deposited in the guard’s room for safe keeping.

This information serves to facilitate a smooth voting process for Polish citizens residing in Tanzania, ensuring that everyone can participate in this important civic duty.
