Players Era Festival 2025: Las Vegas Hosts Expanded Lineup, High-Stakes Matchups

The 2025 Players Era Festival is set to showcase an expanded lineup, featuring 18 men’s teams and four women’s teams this year. Building on last year’s excitement, where Oregon triumphed over Alabama with a close score of 83-81 in the championship game, this year’s festival promises thrilling matchups and heightened competition.

Kicking off on November 24 and 25, all 18 men’s teams will participate in predetermined matchups. The outcomes of these games will set the stage for Wednesday’s championship matchups. Teams that finish the preliminary rounds with a record of 2-0 will secure spots in both the Players Era Championship and the third place game, while those with a 1-1 record will follow. Should tiebreakers be necessary, they will be determined by point differentials, points scored, and points allowed.

The women’s teams, including three representatives from the 2024 Women’s Final Four, will face off in semifinal matchups on November 26, with both the championship and third place games scheduled for Thanksgiving Day on November 27.

All games will be held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena and the Michelob ULTRA Arena in Las Vegas, with streaming available on HBO Max, making it accessible for fans to enjoy the thrilling competition from home. This festival not only showcases basketball talent but also brings together sports enthusiasts, creating an electrifying atmosphere in Las Vegas.

As the anticipation builds for this year’s Players Era Festival, fans can expect a celebration of skill, strategy, and sportsmanship.
