More than five thousand supporters from Pisa gathered at the “Meazza” stadium for a highly anticipated match marked on their calendars since July. The return of Pisa to the hallowed grounds of San Siro was initially scheduled for late October. However, the match was postponed due to a ban imposed by Minister Piantedosi, preventing around four thousand fans who had already purchased their tickets from attending the game against AC Milan.

Despite the initial setback, a massive wave of Nerazzurri fans made their way from Pisa to Milan, traveling approximately 300 kilometers to show their unwavering support for their team. Many of these supporters had longed for this match, with some even fearing they might not have another chance to experience such an event again.

En route to the stadium, heavy rain fell on the Cisa Pass, reducing visibility and making travel conditions challenging. Nevertheless, each roadside rest stop became an opportunity for fans to express their pride in Pisa, proudly waving their flags and banners in anticipation of a historic evening ahead.

This gathering of passionate fans not only highlights the deep connection and loyalty they have for their football club but also underlines the vibrant spirit of community that thrives among supporters. The energy and enthusiasm showcased in this pilgrimage to San Siro serve as a testament to the enduring love for the sport and the shared experiences that bring fans together, despite obstacles.
