Carey Hart, husband of pop icon Pink, has recently found himself in the hospital due to a significant injury sustained while practicing motocross. The former professional racer humorously noted on social media that he “ran out of talent” after his latest accident.
Hart detailed the incident, stating he had a severe fall while practicing on a jump. “I landed off a jump, bars knifed, and took the bar to the gut while going over the bars,” he shared, posting a carousel of images, including a selfie showing the 20 stitches he received on his abdomen. Tragically, his injury resulted in the severing of his small intestine from his colon, but he reassured fans that he would be alright.
In his post, Hart expressed gratitude to Pink for her unwavering support during these trying times, stating, “As [she] always does in these situations, she steps up and takes charge at the hospital.” He apologized for “putting her through this again,” acknowledging the stress his injuries may cause to his family.
The couple, married since 2006, shares two children: 13-year-old Willow and 8-year-old Jameson. Both kids are already showing signs of following their parents’ adventurous spirit, with Willow stepping into the limelight as a budding singer and Jameson taking a keen interest in BMX biking and drumming.
In a recent family skiing trip, Willow impressed with her snowboarding skills, while Jameson is enjoying his own athletic pursuits, much like their father. Hart expressed pride in seeing his son ride his BMX with excitement, showcasing the adventurous upbringing they are fostering together.
Despite the challenging circumstances, Hart’s humorous approach to the situation and the strong support from Pink reflect the resilience of their family bond. This incident serves as a reminder of the importance of family and support in the face of accidents and challenges.
