Victoria’s Secret is making waves this week with an exciting collaboration between its PINK line and the whimsical brand LoveShackFancy. This partnership, revealed on Wednesday, comes right before the return of the much-anticipated Victoria’s Secret fashion show later this year. The collaboration is tailored specifically for Gen Z shoppers and aligns perfectly with the upcoming back-to-school season.
The collection, set to launch on August 6, will be celebrated with an immersive pop-up event on August 5 in New York City, LoveShackFancy’s home base. This marks the first collaboration between the two brands, blending PINK’s playful spirit with LoveShackFancy’s romantic and dreamy aesthetic. The collection promises to feature feminine frills, bows, ruffles, and florals, all imbued with a vibrant pink hue.
Customers can expect a variety of loungewear and activewear staples that PINK is known for, including rhinestone-studded lounge sets, crewneck sweaters, pajamas, leggings, and bralettes. In addition, the collection will offer stylish options for dressing up, such as varsity jackets, skirts, and plenty of accessories.
Rebecca Hessel Cohen, founder and creative director of LoveShackFancy, expressed her enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting the nostalgic vibe of the early 2000s that inspired the designs. “This collaboration with PINK feels like such a full-circle moment for me,” Cohen stated, noting the fun and carefree energy that permeates the collection.
To create buzz ahead of the launch, a campaign featuring rising stars from Gen Z such as Coco Samone and Darianka Sanchez showcases the new offerings, with prices ranging from $20 to $200.
For fans eager for an early look, the pop-up event in Soho will run from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. on August 5, featuring freebies and the chance for early access to shop the collection.
Additionally, LoveShackFancy is also gearing up to debut a sunglasses collaboration with Krewe eyewear this Friday, August 1.
Victoria’s Secret is set to revitalize its fashion show under the direction of Adam Selman, renowned for his innovative work, including styling Rihanna’s iconic ‘naked dress.’ While a date for the reimagined show has yet to be confirmed, excitement is building for what promises to be an unforgettable event.
This collaboration not only reflects a commitment to connecting with a younger audience but also celebrates playful fashion that merges comfort with style.
