PHOENIX — A high-pressure system is set to bring warm temperatures back into the upper 80s to low 90s through midweek. However, a weak storm system is also on the horizon, prompting changes in the weather.
As the storm approaches, clouds are expected to thicken over the region, with the possibility of sporadic rain showers within the next 24 hours. Wednesday will see increased winds, with gusts reaching up to 20 mph in the Valley and 25 mph in northern Arizona as the system moves through.
Following this front, cooler air will lead to a drop in Valley temperatures, with highs forecasted to fall into the low to mid 80s by the end of the week.
