Phish Expands Summer Tour with Exciting New Dates: What You Need to Know!

Phish, the iconic jam band known for their improvisational style, has announced an exciting expansion of their Summer Tour with seven new late-season dates. This announcement comes just two weeks before the tour kicks off, increasing the anticipation among fans. The additional dates will run from September 12 to 21 and include three multi-night bookings, prominently featuring the band’s much-loved return to the Hampton Coliseum in Hampton, Virginia, where they last performed in 2018.

Following the completion of their extensive Summer Tour from June 20 to July 27, Phish will first perform at the Bourbon & Beyond festival in Louisville, Kentucky, on September 12. This performance will be highlighted by a series of significant events, as they have not played in Birmingham, Alabama, since 1994, where they will perform on September 13 and 14. After their show in Birmingham, the band will head to Alpharetta, Georgia, for back-to-back performances on September 16 and 17 at the Ameris Bank Amphitheatre.

The grand finale of this extended tour will take place at the renowned Hampton Coliseum, a venue steeped in Phish history, known for hosting their reunion shows in 2003 and 2009, as well as being the backdrop for their classic live album, “Hampton Comes Alive.” The Coliseum, affectionately dubbed the “Mothership,” adds an additional layer of excitement for fans as they prepare to chant along with the band once again.

Fans are now able to submit ticket requests for the newly announced tour dates, which will remain open until June 9 at 12 p.m. ET, followed by a public sale on June 13 at 10 a.m. ET. This is a fantastic opportunity for the Phish community to secure their spots for an unforgettable series of shows.

In summary, Phish’s upcoming tour promises to be a thrilling experience, reconnecting them with fans in beloved venues and offering new memories in the making. It’s a testament to the band’s enduring appeal and dedication to live performance, ensuring that their legacy continues to thrive.
