This holiday season, the spirit of giving is in full swing, especially for fans of the Philadelphia Eagles. Former player Jason Kelce, alongside current linemen Jordan Mailata and Lane Johnson, collectively known as The Philly Specials, are back with their beloved charitable initiative, Operation Snowball.
Launching pre-orders on November 7 at 9 a.m. ET, The Philly Specials will offer The Holiday Huddle, a collectible set of plushies that faithfully represent the players dressed in festive midnight green sweaters, complete with their names and numbers. Priced at $49.99, this set of three plushies ranges from 8.5 to 9.25 inches and is designed for comfort and holiday cheer, perfect for fans of all ages.
Pre-orders can be made through The Philly Specials’ official website, with shipments expected to arrive during Thanksgiving week. “Making music with my friends and donating to organizations committed to making the lives of Philadelphia families and students brighter during the holidays has been a highlight of the past three years,” said Mailata. “We are looking forward to bringing the joy back again this year with proceeds from the new plushies and a few other surprises.”
In addition to these festive plush collectibles, fans can also purchase the A Philly Special Box Set, featuring all three of their albums on vinyl and CD, and A Philly Special Christmas Party, along with greeting cards. The initiative has previously made a significant impact in the community, including a citywide effort last year that provided gifts for every student in the School District of Philadelphia. Connor Barwin, executive producer of Vera Y Records and Operation Snowball, emphasized the mission’s success, reflecting on how their first album sparked a wave of joy and support for local organizations.
As this holiday campaign unfolds, it serves as a reminder of the positive impact sports figures can have on their communities, spreading cheer and support through their initiatives. The collaboration of The Philly Specials continues to inspire hope and generosity among fans and residents in Philadelphia.
