Pernambuco Meu País Festival Unveils Star-Studded Summer Edition Across Five Cities

The “Pernambuco Meu País” Festival is set to launch its first summer edition this December, aiming to enliven the coastal and metropolitan regions of Pernambuco. Following two successful events in the Agreste and Sertão, this exciting festival will now take place in five municipalities: Recife, Camaragibe, São José da Coroa Grande, Ilha de Itamaracá, and Jaboatão dos Guararapes. The latter will host the grand New Year’s Eve celebration on the beach of Candeias.

This summer edition boasts an eclectic lineup, featuring a mix of local talents and well-known national artists spanning various genres. Confirmed performers include Cordel do Fogo Encantado, Priscila Senna, Mago de Tarso, Claudia Leitte, Capital Inicial, Xamã, Hungria, Irah Caldeira, Duda Beat, Dilsinho, Luísa Sonza, Bell Marques, Calcinha Preta, and Banda Getúlio Cavalcanti.

In addition to the musical performances, the festival celebrates popular culture with highlights including the Escola de Samba Preto Velho, Coco de Umbigada, and the Orquestra de Frevo Zezé.

The detailed schedule for Camaragibe features performances from artists such as Irah Caldeira and Dorgival Dantas, while Recife’s lineup includes the Orquestra de Frevo and popular acts like Calcinha Preta and Cláudia Leitte.
