The Paddlefish Restaurant at Disney Springs is facing an unexpected closure today, likely due to a reported sewage leak. According to a source from BlogMickey.com, this issue led to the restaurant closing early last evening, and it remains shut as of the latest update.

Cast Members informed that while Paddlefish operated normally yesterday, it did not open its doors today. Signage outside indicated it was “closed for a private event,” but there was an absence of guests inside. Despite inquiries, Cast Members at the location did not provide any specific details regarding the closure, and Walt Disney World has not yet responded to requests for further information.

At this time, the My Disney Experience app shows no available reservations for Paddlefish today, but guests can make reservations starting tomorrow.

This unfortunate closure adds to a series of challenges for Paddlefish this year. Just a month ago, the restaurant was the site of an unusual incident involving a suspected robbery by a man in scuba gear, who allegedly escaped into Lake Buena Vista. As the team at Paddlefish works to address the current issues, the hope remains that normal operations will resume swiftly, allowing guests to return to one of Disney Springs’ popular dining experiences.
