The Green Bay Packers have made a significant addition to their real estate holdings by purchasing 2055 Barberry Lane, just south of Lambeau Field, for $800,000. This acquisition comes as part of the team’s ongoing strategy to consolidate land around their iconic stadium, with multiple properties already in their portfolio on adjacent sides of the new lot.
In the year to date, the Packers have invested nearly $13.7 million in a total of eight parcels, comprising five commercial and three residential properties. These purchases are primarily located to the south or east of Lambeau Field, and two of the commercial enterprises are in the process of relocating to new venues.
The recent purchase involves a transaction with Henry Real Estate Development, owned by Ed Martin, a former member of the Packers’ board of directors. The team acquired the property at the same price it was purchased earlier this fall.
Over the past 17 years, the Packers have collectively invested over $81 million in land surrounding Lambeau Field, amassing a total of more than 92 acres, with the majority situated in Ashwaubenon and approximately half integrated into the Titletown district.
While the Packers have not publicly disclosed specific plans for their latest acquisition, team representatives highlight that owning this land gives them flexibility for future developments. Notably, some of these lots could serve as operational hubs during the upcoming 2025 NFL draft, scheduled for April 24-26 in Green Bay.
