Olivia Rodrigo has shared her favorite song of the summer, revealing in a recent interview with Complex that it’s the remix of Charli XCX’s “Guess,” featuring Billie Eilish. “I mean, I love the Charli XCX and Billie [Eilish] song ‘Guess,’” said the “Drivers License” artist. “So good,” she added, expressing how much she’s enjoyed it, noting it has been on repeat for her.
This announcement follows Charli XCX’s new version of “Guess,” which made its debut at No. 12 on the Billboard Hot 100. This marks Charli’s highest-charting song since 2014. The music video for the collaboration features Eilish dramatically bulldozing through a pile of bras and panties.
In March, Rodrigo released five new tracks on the deluxe edition of her album Guts, which topped the Billboard 200 chart. One of those songs, “Obsessed,” peaked at No. 14 on the Hot 100.
Currently, Rodrigo is on her first arena tour in support of the album, with two remaining shows in Los Angeles at the Intuit Dome before heading to Asia and Australia. During the Complex interview, she discussed how she stays occupied on the road, from reading Donna Tartt’s The Secret History to listening to music by Soulja Boy and Nicki Minaj.
“I sleep so much on tour,” Rodrigo mentioned. “I sleep for 13 hours a day sometimes. I’m so exhausted. So that passes a lot of the time. But I’ve just been reading and watching all of my comfort shows. I’ve been watching Sex and the City every day to make myself feel grounded and at home.”
