Olivia Rodrigo has shared her favorite song of the summer, revealing in a recent interview with Complex that it’s the remix of Charli XCX’s cheeky track “Guess,” featuring Billie Eilish. “I mean, I love the Charli XCX and Billie [Eilish] song ‘Guess,’” Rodrigo said. “So good. It’s been on repeat.”
This announcement comes shortly after Charli XCX released the reimagined version of “Guess,” which debuted at No. 12 on the Billboard Hot 100, marking Charli’s highest-charting song since 2014. The two pop stars also appeared together in a music video for the song, showcasing Eilish dramatically bulldozing over a pile of bras and panties.
Rodrigo last released new music in March, featuring five songs in the deluxe edition of her album “Guts,” which topped the Billboard 200. One of those tracks, “Obsessed,” climbed to No. 14 on the Hot 100.
The “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series” actress is currently on her first arena tour to promote the album, with two shows remaining in Los Angeles at the Intuit Dome before she heads to Asia and Australia. During her interview with Complex, she also shared how she spends her time on the road, mentioning she reads Donna Tartt’s “The Secret History” and listens to music by Soulja Boy and Nicki Minaj to stay motivated.
“I sleep so much on tour,” she said. “I sleep for 13 hours a day sometimes. I’m so exhausted, so that passes a lot of the time. But I’ve just been reading and watching all of my comfort shows. I’ve been watching ‘Sex and the City’ every day to make myself feel grounded and at home.”
