Olimpia’s Home Debut: Excitement and Changes Await Fans!

Club Olimpia Deportivo is set to make its home debut against Lobos UPN, with a substantial turnout expected from the capital’s fans at the National Stadium. The current leaders of the Apertura 2025-26 Liga Nacional announced that certain facilities at the stadium will not be fully available for the match.

In a message shared on their social media on July 25, the reigning champions informed supporters that the Sol Sur area, which is home to the Ultra Fiel fans, will be under maintenance due to ongoing work by the National Sports, Physical Education, and Recreation Commission (CONDEPOR). Consequently, a temporary relocation has been arranged for ticket holders of that section for the upcoming match on July 26 at 7:30 PM.

Tickets issued for the Sol Sur area will still be valid for entry into the Sol Sur Anexo section, where fans can gather during the match against the university team. The Ultra Fiel supporters group will also need to access this annex, ensuring their designated space to cheer for the team.

The club expressed gratitude for the fans’ understanding and cooperation during this temporary measure, aimed at ensuring safety and comfort as the upgrades are finalized. The excitement leading up to the game is palpable, with Olimpia looking to build on their impressive start to the tournament after defeating the newly promoted Choloma 7-2. Lobos UPN also won their opener, edging out Génesis FC 2-1, making both teams eager to secure further points in this competitive championship.

This matchup is not only a chance for fans to rally behind their team but also showcases the spirit of community and support that football brings, fostering a lively atmosphere as both clubs aim for continued success in the tournament.
