The draw for the OFC Men’s Champions League 2026 has officially taken place at the OFC Home of Football, Te Kahu o Kiwa, located in Auckland. This much-anticipated tournament will be held in Fiji from August 9 to 22, featuring matches in the vibrant cities of Lautoka and Ba.
Auckland City FC, a powerhouse in the competition with a record 13 championship titles, will fight to defend their title. They have been placed in Group A, where they will face tough competition from Central Coast FC of the Solomon Islands, AS Venus of Tahiti, and AS Tiga Sport of New Caledonia. Notably, the match between Auckland City FC and AS Venus will be a rematch of the 2022 OFC Men’s Champions League final. Central Coast FC, a semi-finalist in 2022, and AS Tiga Sport, who made it to the semi-finals in 2025, will also be looking to make their mark.
In Group B, host club Rewa FC from Fiji will compete against Lae City FC from Papua New Guinea, Galaxy FC of Vanuatu, and the qualifying tournament winner, Tupapa Maraerenga FC from the Cook Islands. Rewa FC reached the semi-finals in 2024, while Tupapa Maraerenga FC impressively secured their place after winning the qualifying tournament for the second consecutive time in Samoa earlier this year. Both Galaxy FC and Lae City FC are set to make a highly anticipated return to the competition.
The 2026 edition will mark the 25th anniversary of the OFC Men’s Champions League since its establishment in 1987, highlighting the tournament’s long-standing legacy and significance in the region’s football landscape. With an exciting lineup and competitive spirit, fans can look forward to an exhilarating tournament that promises to showcase the best of Pacific football.
