Oasis Reunites: The World Tour Fans Have Been Waiting For!

After much speculation, the Gallagher brothers have officially announced that Oasis will be reuniting for a world tour. Noel and Liam Gallagher are set to put their differences aside and perform across various locations in the UK and Ireland as part of the tour titled Oasis Live ’25. Fans eager to attend can register for the pre-sale ticket ballot, which is currently open and will close at 19:00 BST on Wednesday. Here are the key details regarding the tour and ticket sales.

Oasis will perform at several venues across the UK and Ireland, including four shows at Heaton Park in Manchester and four at Wembley Stadium in London. Additionally, they have scheduled two performances at Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh and Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, culminating with concerts in Dublin at Croke Park. The tour dates are as follows:

– July 4, 5: Cardiff, Principality Stadium
– July 11, 12, 19, 20: Manchester, Heaton Park
– July 25, 26 and August 2, 3: London, Wembley Stadium
– August 8, 9: Edinburgh, Murrayfield Stadium
– August 16, 17: Dublin, Croke Park

These are currently the only European dates confirmed for next year, although additional shows may be added if demand is high.

The ticket pre-sale ballot is set to take place on Friday, August 30, 2024. Fans can register to participate in the ballot until 19:00 BST on Wednesday, August 28. To enter, fans must provide their contact details and answer a general knowledge question about the band. Although being drawn in the ballot does not guarantee tickets, it aims to give fans a fair chance to purchase them.

General ticket sales for the UK concerts will commence at 09:00 BST on Saturday, August 31, 2024, with Dublin tickets available an hour earlier.

Ticket prices have not yet been disclosed, but they are expected to be announced on Thursday, August 29. Fans will be allowed to purchase up to four tickets each. Given the excitement surrounding the reunion, ticket prices may vary widely.

There have been rumors about Oasis potentially headlining Glastonbury, having done so previously in 1995 and 2004. However, the band has stated that the announced stadium dates will be their only shows in Europe, which suggests they will not be appearing at Glastonbury. Despite this, fans remain hopeful, as the festival schedule could accommodate a surprise performance, especially given the band’s mixed past with the event.

Originally formed in Manchester in 1991, the band’s lineup has changed over the years. The original members included Liam and Noel Gallagher, alongside guitarist Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs, bassist Paul “Guigsy” McGuigan, and drummer Tony McCarroll. Their last performance occurred at the V Festival in 2009, following a highly publicized split rooted in longstanding personal and creative differences.

The upcoming tour raises questions about the current lineup, as it’s unclear who will join the Gallagher brothers on stage. The band’s complex history and the dynamic between the brothers continue to captivate fans, making this reunion one of the most anticipated events in music.
