NVIDIA Hits Record Revenue as AI Demand Surges, Eyes 2027 Autonomous Push

NVIDIA has announced record financial results for its third quarter of fiscal 2026, concluding on October 26, 2025, with total revenue hitting $57.0 billion. This represents a 22% increase from the previous quarter and a remarkable 62% gain year-over-year. The company also reported a record revenue of $51.2 billion from its Data Centers, up 25% from Q2 and up 66% compared to the same period last year.

The company’s gross margins were solid, with GAAP margins at 73.4% and non-GAAP margins at 73.6%. Both GAAP and non-GAAP earnings per diluted share were reported at $1.30. Jensen Huang, NVIDIA’s founder and CEO, expressed enthusiasm for the performance, noting, “Blackwell sales are off the charts, and cloud GPUs are sold out.” He emphasized the ongoing surge in compute demand driven by accelerated AI applications across various sectors, stating that the AI ecosystem is rapidly expanding.

In terms of shareholder returns, NVIDIA has been active, repurchasing shares and issuing dividends, returning $37 billion to shareholders in the first nine months of fiscal 2026. At the end of the quarter, the company had $62.2 billion remaining under its share repurchase authorization and announced a cash dividend of $0.01 per share, set for payment on December 26, 2025.

Looking ahead, NVIDIA anticipates fourth-quarter revenue to be approximately $65.0 billion, plus or minus 2%, with expected gross margins of 74.8% for GAAP and 75.0% for non-GAAP. Operating expenses are projected to be around $6.7 billion and $5.0 billion, respectively.

The third quarter also saw notable performances in other segments. The gaming and AI PC markets showed a revenue increase to $760 million, a rise of 26% from the previous quarter and 56% year-over-year. Additionally, the automotive revenue reached $592 million, reflecting a 1% increase from Q2 and a 32% increase from the previous year. NVIDIA has also partnered with Uber to prepare for the launch of a large-scale fleet of level 4 autonomous vehicles in 2027, showcasing continued innovation and leadership in the technology landscape.
