The highly anticipated third installment of the “Now You See Me” series, titled “Now You See Me: Now You Don’t,” is set to hit theaters in November. Jesse Eisenberg and Woody Harrelson will reprise their roles under the direction of Ruben Fleischer, who previously directed them in “Zombieland.” Given their collaborative history across multiple projects, fans may wonder whether this trio will reunite again, specifically for another “Zombieland” sequel.

In a recent interview with ComicBook, Eisenberg tempered expectations for a third “Zombieland” film. He noted that prior to venturing into a new “Zombieland,” it is more likely that the “Now You See Me” franchise will continue producing sequels. Eisenberg remarked, “Yes, I would like to [make Zombieland 3]. Zombieland was, I think, a 10-year break in between. This movie, we did one, and then like three years later, and then 10 years later. So, Now You See Me is probably more likely to have more movies than Zombieland.”

While fans of the zombie comedy may hope for a return to that universe, it seems that a new “Zombieland” installment may not materialize until the late 2020s or possibly the 2030s, especially considering the timeline of the previous films. This indicates an exciting future for the “Now You See Me” franchise while leaving the fate of “Zombieland” in uncertain territory. As fans await the upcoming release, optimism remains that with continued interest, the beloved zombie adventure may one day return to the big screen.
